The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued an advisory against the use of saliva to affix court fees on Court documents in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Order issued to this effect states:
“… all advocates/clerks to advocates and litigants should not use saliva for affixing court fee and stamps on the applications/petitions to be filed in the registry.”
The Order has been issued pursuant to health advisories to safeguard the health of Judges, Staff, Advocates/clerks to advocates and litigants and to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
