Criminal drafting plays a very vital role in preparation of complaints, applications, affidavits and writs. It is the only way through which law and facts put together before the court for just and proper adjudication of the cases. By way of superior quality of drafting an advocate may better represent grievances and relief expected from Courts of Law. It requires thorough knowledge of law, procedure, settled judicial principles, besides proficiency in English Language.
This course on Criminal drafting will cover diverse aspects of criminal drafting including current prevalant practice followed in the courts. The aim of this course is to cover and acquaint the learners with the fundamental principles of Criminal drafting in India which is there in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.This course will basically introduce you to the stages in criminal case along with its drafting. The learners will get acquainted with the formats and application that are used in the Criminal Courts.

Assignment shall consist of 50 marks.
Step 4: After submission and evaluation of the assignment the students will be provided with the PHYSICAL CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
